MDI Biological Laboratory

The INBRE program changed the trajectory of my career and, quite frankly, my life. I could not be more thankful that I signed up for an INBRE short course.

The MDI Biological Laboratory provides biomedical training to more than 600 students each year. As the founder and leader of the Maine INBRE program, a statewide network of 14 research and academic institutions, we are preparing students for 21st-century careers in science, healthcare and entrepreneurial endeavors.

Our programs emphasize hands-on experiences, problem solving, communication, and partnership building. Our programs serve middle and high school students, undergraduates, graduate students, and post-doctoral research fellows, as well as practicing physicians, veterinarians, scientists, teachers, and members of the public from all backgrounds.

MINOTA: Maine INBRE Non-model Organism Transcriptome Analysis Workshop

MDI Biological Laboratory and the Maine INBRE are again hosting the MINOTA workshop with the specific goal of bringing together a community of Maine INBRE researchers and students who are focused on transcriptome analysis of non-model organisms.
