Dr. Richard J. Goss was a pioneer in the field of regenerative biology and spent numerous summers conducting research at the MDI Biological Laboratory. Goss’s Principles of Regeneration remains an essential primer for regenerative biology.
The Goss Fellows program supports innovative research by scientists at the postdoctoral and late-stage predoctoral level who are committed to a research career. Research should be focused broadly on the field of regenerative biology and medicine. Projects utilizing interdisciplinary approaches, non-mammalian model organisms, and computational biology are encouraged.
Goss Fellows are united by a common research focus in regenerative biology and are an integral component of our research community. The Goss Fellows program provides an active intellectual atmosphere with seminars and social events and interaction with faculty in the Davis Center for Regenerative Biology and Medicine.
