The MDI Biological Laboratory is a member of Frenchman Bay Partners, a group of individuals and organizations working together for a sustainable future for Frenchman Bay. Frenchman Bay Partners facilitates discussion between stakeholder groups, gathers and shares information, and initiates projects to ensure a healthy future for the bay.
Frenchman Bay Partners focuses on four conservation target areas: eelgrass, benthic habitat, mudflats, and diadromous fish. Current projects include eelgrass restoration, the re-opening of clam flats, and the development of a benthic monitoring program.
