Ruth Cserr
Ms. Cserr is a landscape architect and community volunteer, as well as the founder of Pomegranate Studio, a landscape art and architecture project in Orford, N.H.
Ms. Cserr received her A.B. from Dartmouth College and a Master of Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Pennsylvania. She also studied architectural and landscape architectural history and theory at Princeton University School of Architecture. She spent many childhood summers at the MDI Biological Laboratory where her mother, Dr. Helen Cserr, was a seasonal investigator from 1967 to 1986. She and her family continue to spend time in Maine and maintain a home on Mount Desert Island. Ruth is actively involved in several community volunteer projects, including serving on the board of the Open Fields School and as the Chair of the Orford Democratic Party Committee.
