Hook Wheeler

Hook joined the MDI Biological Laboratory in August 2020 to lead the Human Resources Department. His team has the responsibility of providing the full array of Human Resource programs in support of MDIBL’s research scientists, scientific educators, and the administrative groups at the institution.  

 Hook’s recent focus has been to help drive expanded international recruiting efforts and provide immigration support to scientists and graduate students. Additionally, Hook has been working with a dedicated committee of employees to further current initiatives in the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion space. 

 Hook joined MDI Biological Laboratory after 30 years managing a variety of functions and initiatives across the Human Resources spectrum at The Jackson Laboratory.
