Many people think of the MDI Biological Laboratory primarily as a research institution, but it also has a long and impressive record in education.
Family Science Night has been happening for decades, providing a fun setting and structure in which families can explore, experiment, and talk about science.
Dr. Bob Morris, a researcher at the laboratory, owes his start in science to a Family Science Night he had visited with his family back in 1976.
Family Science Night will be happening July 13, Thursday, rain or shine, at the MDI Biological Laboratory on 159 Old Bar Harbor Road, Bar Harbor from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. You can pre-register for free to expedite your entry.
