As a pathologist, Dr. Schneider's research focus is on clonal myeloid neoplasms, employing a range of genomic technologies as well as classical cellular and molecular biology experimental approaches. Her goal is to translate her research into development of targeted therapeutics for patients with fibrosis and organ failure due to chronic blood cancer.
During her visit Dr. Schneider will discuss potential collaboration with Dr. Haller and other MDIBL faculty, gain better understanding of the available animal models and explore opportunities for postdoctoral visits from her home institution.
