Dr. Tilden will spend the summer working with Joel Graber, Ph.D. and the Computational Core, where they will collaboratively mentor a group of students on the computational analysis of genomic data related to the missions of the MDI Biological Laboratory.
Exact projects will be determined when Dr. Tilden arrives on campus, but sample projects include “Introns: a Hint About the Origins of Eukaryotes” and "Meta-Analyses of Transcriptomic Data Across Developmental Stages and Treatments in Zebrafish," where Dr. Tilden will also collaborate with Dr. James A. Coffman, to better understand the data produced from his research on the role of early stress (during development) on adult health outcomes in the zebrafish model.
