Seminar – “Understanding Spine Development: From extracellular matrix to g-coupled protein receptors”
Ryan Gray, Ph.D.
Maren Auditorium, MDI Biological Laboratory
Ryan Gray, Ph.D., uses the zebrafish model system as a means to understanding the mechanisms of musculoskeletal development. He seeks to develop models and tools for research into the development of the vertebral column.
Gray is a currently a postdoctoral fellow in the laboratory of Lilianna Solnica-Krezel, Ph.D., at Washington University in St. Louis. He has received a National Research Service Award fellowship from the NIH for his research into elucidating the cellular and molecular mechanisms of late-onset scoliosis.
