Dustin Shillcox was 26 years old when doctors told him he would never move his legs again. In 2010 Dustin suffered a devastating spinal injury as a result of a car accident. But today, Dustin can move his legs and toes thanks to an experimental research study led by Claudia Angeli, Ph.D., a senior researcher at the Human Locomotion Research Center at Frazier Rehab Institute and assistant professor at the University of Louisville’s Kentucky Spinal Cord Injury Research Center.
