How does something so incredible and varied as beer come from four simple ingredients? Gregg TeHennepe will take a scientific look at the process of making beer at home, shedding light on the mysterious process that turns water, barley, hops, and yeast into one of the most beloved of beverages of all time.
The MDI Science Cafés are a program of the MDI Biological Laboratory. They offer a relaxed, informal way to learn about the latest scientific developments. Each café lasts about an hour. Presentations are made in everyday language and questions are welcome.
Cafés are free of charge, and refreshments are available.
