David W. Towle Fellowships

The David W. Towle Fellowship welcomes applications from graduate students from both US and international institutions to work on their thesis under the supervision of an MDI Biological Laboratory resident faculty member or visiting scientist. Students must have faculty sponsorship prior to submitting an application.

Towle Fellowship applicants must submit a brief research proposal (co-sponsored by a member of the resident or visiting faculty), a faculty-sponsor recommendation, proof of graduate school enrollment, and a CV.

Applications are reviewed in the order in which they are received. Applications must be submitted at least 3 months in advance of the proposed research visit.

Questions? Contact the Education Office.

Applications are now closed for 2020 fellowships.
