The MDI Biological Laboratory Summer Student Symposium showcases the research of summer research fellows, including those who are funded through INBRE, NSF REU or private funds. The symposium is designed to bring student researchers together to present their research through interactive presentations and posters. INBRE student fellows placed in other laboratories in Maine are required to attend and present their work; Maine students doing summer research in laboratories in other Northeast Region IDeA states are welcome to attend and present their work. This is an excellent opportunity for the MDI Biological Laboratory community to view our student/mentor collaborations. The families of the fellowship students are invited to attend. Student registration and guest invitations will occur in July.
