The MDI Biological Laboratory will host a grant writing seminar and workshop led by David C. Dawson, Ph.D., Professor Emeritus, Department of Physiology an Pharmacology at Oregon Health and Science University, and former director of MDI Biological Laboratory. Dr. Dawson is a longtime reviewer for the NSF and NIH, as well as the recipient of many institutional and independent research grants.
This is a combination seminar and workshop event. The seminar, which will be held on Wednesday morning, July 13, is open to the public. These mini-grant proposals will be reviewed by assigned participants in a mock study section on Thursday afternoon, July 14.
