Required Qualifications:
Diploma in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology or a related discipline
Highly motivated and willing to learn and apply new techniques and methods.
Ability to work independently or in a group (reliably and congenially with colleagues)
Laboratory experience (model organisms, molecular methods)
Strong organizational abilities
Excellent time management

The Center:
The goal of the new state-of-the-art Davis Center for Regenerative Biology and Medicine at MDI Biological Laboratory is to define the cellular and molecular mechanisms of regeneration in a variety of non-mammalian organisms to understand what underlies the process of regeneration and, potentially, to point the way to new therapies. www.mdibl.org/research/.

The Institution:
MDI Biological Laboratory is a non-profit research organization in Bar Harbor, Maine that offers a welcoming community energized by the excitement of discovery. The beautiful coastal location shapes its identity, while visiting faculty, students, and global collaborations link it to leading research and academic centers throughout the North East and around the world. www.mdibl.org
