The MDI Biological Laboratory seeks an Education Program Coordinator to support courses, conferences, and student research programs on campus. This full-time position will oversee the logistics of courses, conferences, and education events, as well as student research internships and other programs on campus.
The MDI Biological Laboratory (MDIBL) is a rapidly growing, independent, non-profit biomedical research institution recognized by the international science community and the National Institutes of Health for its highly focused and novel research program in regenerative and aging biology and medicine. The Laboratory provides a uniquely collaborative and multidisciplinary research environment, outstanding scientific resources, and excellent student educational programs.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills to effectively interface with department heads, administrative staff, student applicants and other program registrants; strong organizational skills to manage multiple simultaneous projects in a highly collaborative team environment; the ability to monitor financial expenditures within a budget; and demonstrated expertise in various software programs including Word, InDesign, and databases.
The ideal candidate will also have a bachelor’s degree in business, education, or related field; project management experience, and 3-5 years of experience working in an office environment.
