MDI Biological Laboratory
Dining Hall Cook- Year-round, Full-time
The MDI Biological Laboratory seeks a highly motivated dining hall cook to assist with all food service aspects as planned for institutional courses, conferences, and events. As a member of the food service team, the successful candidate will report to the Food Service Manager.
The incumbent will provide support in maintaining kitchen and dining areas across the campus. Applicants must be available for split shifts, including weekends and holidays.
$18/hr. plus a complete benefits package.
Required qualifications include knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and safety practices; basic knife skills, and the demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service to guests and staff with proven organizational skills.
1-2 years culinary experience including grill and cold prep plus Serve Safe certification.
Availability to work full time; 40 hours per week.
